I would like to express my interest and motivation in the International Graduate Program in Commerce. I am certain that this program will provide me with a great asset to become a competent, successful, and innovative Brand Manager professional able to contribute at Heineken, a one of the most well-known beer brands in the world.

I consider that my international background, obtained through an International Business and Management Bachelor degree, my study abroad year in Taiwan, as well as my work experience at Nike European Headquarters (EHQ), together with my freelance job participating in international events, have provided me with an excellent foundation to pursue a career for Commerce at Heineken N.V.

In 2012, I served as a Project Coordinator in Transition- and Change Management at Nike in the Netherlands. During this time, I experienced first-hand strategy formulation in business transformation and innovation processes, including the planning and execution of communication strategies. More specifically, I analyzed and monitored a new growth strategy implementation for Western Europe, which included a statistical analysis of over 2,000 employees. My results were presented to the General Manager of Nike ́s Western Europe division; results that served as a critical input to apply a more transparent communication within business functions that underwent the business transition. This experience motivated me to develop a career involving strategic decision-making and to work in a high performance level environment working together with markets all over the world.

My international professional and educational background has equipped me with a unique set of skills that allow me to understand the complexity of different cultures. Besides being a fast learner, I am a resilient person with proven leadership and teamwork skills by applying a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Further, my high sense of responsibility and self-confidence allow me to accept and learn from criticism. I'm determined and conscious about actively being part of a strong and creative team.

I am strongly confident that with my hands-on mentality, intercultural skillset, and high motivation, I will maintain high standards at your program. If given the opportunity, I am sure that my aforementioned experiences will provide a significant added value to your organization.
