Sample cover letter for Internship position at BE Aerospace

POSITION:

Business Analyst

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Management Information Systems at the [college name]. I came across the internship opportunity at B/E Aerospace on the career section of the company website and would like to express my sincere interest in it. I feel my skills and qualifications can make me a perfect fit for the IT Business Analyst Intern position.

I worked as a business analyst project Intern at the [company name]  where I used my effective interpersonal and problem solving skills to consult client employees and translate business requirements into functional specifications. We had to implement a web application using full SDLC which included creating a project plan considering budget and other resources at hand. For the successful delivery of the project, I designed efficient test cases and executed them to ensure consistent and reliable results. I also delivered a detailed technical documentation to the client which included each deliverable specification. Back in India, I co-founded a sports start up where I headed the IT team and facilitated the development of the web product for the start-up. During the course of these projects, I have used Microsoft products like Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project very frequently. I have extensive knowledge of programming languages like Java, ASP.NET and PHP.

I am enclosing a copy of my resume outlining my leadership, academic achievement and experience. I am available in May to join your team for the summer internship. I welcome the opportunity to talk about this exciting opportunity. Please contact me if you require additional information. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Thank you for your time and consideration
