I am writing this letter to apply for the position of intern for Corporate and CATIA Strategy Analyst. I found about this position through the EDHEC Career Centre, where it was posted as part of the Strategy Roadshow, for which your team is coming to the Lille campus of EDHEC on 3rd December. I am deeply inclined for this position and to join your organization. Having done my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering I have had the experience of using CATIA V6 and Solidworks and have had the desire to work in your organization since a long time. The innovative and entrepreneurial culture of your company makes me even more enthusiastic to apply for this position.

I am currently enrolled in MSc. in Strategy and Organisation Consulting at the Lille Campus of EDHEC Business School and I am expected to graduate in May 2015. This course gives me a deep understanding of Strategic Planning, Market Analysis, and Financial Analysis, and also provides the opportunity to apply my learning in various case studies.

I graduated with a degree in Engineering and I have 2 years’ experience of working in the X industry. I have had the first-hand experience of designing using your products. Having worked as an executive in Automobile Industry I possess a very good understanding of the market needs of 3D design and simulation software. I have had the experience of working in professional and multicultural teams and I am proficient in use of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

With my skills, knowledge and experience I find myself suitable to apply for this position. My motivation to join your company comes from a long standing relation with you through your products and also from the firm belief that I can give my best and contribute successfully towards the sustainable growth of Dassault Systemes. I am looking forward to meet your Strategy Team at the Lille Campus and discuss further about this opportunity.
