POSITION:

Investment Analyst

Dear Recruitment Manager,

I am witting to apply for the Investment Analyst position at Vanguard. I am a second year MBA student and I learned about this unique and challenging opportunity through the university´s job department. I am ambitious and an excellent performer and I am confident that my skills, experience and strengths fit with a career in Investment Management.

My four-years of experience in Corporate Banking has prepared me with the skills required to understand financial markets, financial institutions, and diverse investment and financing alternatives. Additionally, in my role as a Financial Analyst, I developed excellent analytical abilities supported by a strong understanding of corporate finance. These skills help me to quickly identify opportunities in the market and to understand the economic condition in a particular country or region. This will prove helpful when analysing investment opportunities, associated risks, and expected returns.

Furthermore, by managing corporate client relations and working closely with departments such as Legal, Operations, IT and Risk Management, I enhanced my client-interaction, negotiation and teamwork skills. My competencies in communication, critical thinking and strategic analysis have been further developed through my MBA studies and extracurricular activities.

I believe that my passion about financial markets, my analytical and technical skills and my academic and professional background, make me an excellent candidate for the Investment Analyst position at Vanguard. I will contribute much value to the organisation and its investors. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
