Snowden: Hero or Traitor?
13 Jan 2014 to 19 Jan 2014 Link
C-SPAN had a student documentary contest for a 7 minute video that discusses an important issue that the US Congress should address. The topic I chose was mass government surveillance, and whether or not Edward Snowden should be considered a patriot or a traitor. The project had to be created in a week to meet the deadline. I wanted to create the best video I possibly could, regardless of the short amount of time, resulting in a total of 57 hours of work, approximately 8 hours a day. Out of 2,355 entries, my video won 3rd place.

Days Ago
01 Apr 2015 to 14 Apr 2015 Link
Days Ago is a simple and intuitive app that tells you how long it's been since an event occurred. Use it to mark your achievements, see how far you've come, and keep an eye on the things you've been neglecting or putting off. And with the companion Apple Watch app, all your events are just a flick of the wrist away.
Asteroids++
20 Apr 2015 to 09 May 2015 Link
The final project for my Introduction to Embedded Systems (EE 319K) course was to design a handheld video game system. My partner and I designed "Asteroids++," a game based on the classic "Asteroids" arcade game. We used a TM4C123 microcontroller, built a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for audio output, used an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for input via two thumbsticks, interfaced a colour LCD, and used a coin vibration motor for haptic feedback. Programming was done in C. Out of over 150 teams, our team won 2nd place.
