The people who started the company come from a scientific background and took me on because they needed someone with some business background. In my six weeks, I worked on all sorts of things: Business modeling, marketing, website design, market research, competitor research, social media, cost budgeting, and an investor pitch.

My fraternity needed better relationships with alumni and we though a good way to do this was to have a website that described everything we have been up to in the past couple years. Part of the reason for this was that we wanted to raise money for an addition to our house that has been long overdue. I used a template from wix.com to design the site and attempt to make it visually appealing. We were able to raise the money and construction on our extension began as soon as school let out.
