Worked on the ATLAS project, a Tibial Loading Sensor system comprising three in-sole piezoelectric sensors aimed at drastically increasing our ability to collect data for a large study on Partial Weight Bearing (PWB) for fracture patients by overcoming hurdles of high cost and limited recording lengths. Performed bench testing to determine whether or not signal quality was retained for entire usage period.

Work with SELPs, recombinant silk-elastinlike protein copolymers for intratumoral delivery of Adenoviral directed enzyme prodrug therapy. Position was obtained and carried out as part of the Merrill Engineering Scholarship at the University of Utah.

As Head Design Engineer I led four Biomedical Engineers to the invention and creation of a more secure, user-friendly and cost effective Endotracheal Tube (ETT) securement device. This project included all the necessary paperwork (holding up to FDA and ISO standards). Understanding gained of the entire design process from start to finish. Official work on project was done through the BioDesign Program through the end of 2014. Although the finishing work on this project is currently on hiatus, it will resume shortly this summer.
