MindSumo is funded by Voyager Capital, Google Ventures, Start Fund, and other respected investors. The company has 10 full-time employees and is headquartered in Durham, North Carolina with a few remote employees in Texas and the Bay Area.

Sales Development Representative (Durham, NC)
Description
MindSumo is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help manage the prospecting and qualification activities for our sales team. Compensation includes base salary, a commission structure with performance-based bonuses, and health benefits. As a member of our team, your work will have a huge impact on the entire company. You will be expected to produce high-quality output and contribute ideas and strategies to help drive MindSumo's sales development to greater heights.
Responsibilities
  1. Weekly prospecting research & execution (email)
    • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build targeted outreach lists of prospects
    • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) to prepare custom messaging and send email drip campaigns
    • Analyze the success of weekly prospecting efforts and make recommendations for areas of improvement
  2. Weekly prospecting research & execution (LinkedIn)
    • Conduct targeted LinkedIn InMail prospecting campaigns for MindSumo Account Executives using Sales Navigator
  3. Lead & Opportunity Nurture (calls)
    • Collaborate with AEs to create targeted lists of existing leads and opportunities that need re-engagement
    • Make a set number of calls to these qualified leads and opportunities each week to re-engage and schedule new conversations.
  4. Creative Lead Generation
    • Every week, 10-15% of your time can be spent exploring new and creative methods for generating new inbound leads
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous sales and/or marketing experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An engaging & enthusiastic personality that is well-suited for multiple phone calls a day
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Coachability, passion, and excitement to work in a small startup environment
