When you search for a file on Box, the service parses the title and content of files in order to display relevant content. Recently other product features have taken priority over search, as Box now integrates with mobile devices and has incredible functionality for enterprise customers. However, the engineering team wants to revisit its search algorithm to optimize for speed and accuracy.


With the goal of surfacing the most relevant files first, write up your own search algorithm in pseudocode. Don't worry too much about implementation details and integration with the Box platform right now.

In addition to the algorithm, write a paragraph explaining your strategy. Discuss what your algorithm is doing, what data within the files you will be looking at, the runtime efficiency of your algorithm, and why you think your approach is the best method to tackle this task.
