Zappos offers over 1000 unique brands of shoes, clothing, and more. Each of these brands appeals to a different demographic, and it can be a challenge marketing the right products to the right people while making sure some brands don't fall by the wayside.
The Zappos marketing team is looking for a passionate, well-rounded, and Excel savvy marketing intern to help with this problem! We want someone that has a track record for being interested in marketing and can work with vastly different brands with the same amount of enthusiasm. While we always welcome questions, we are looking for a "street smart" intern that takes initiative and tackles problems independently first.
Submit a pdf or word document (max 2 pages) or ppt (max 10 slides) covering these three questions:
1) How would you promote/market your favorite brand sold on Zappos to increase sales and drive brand awareness for an entire calendar year?
2) Provide an example of a marketing/advertising effort that another retailer (e.g. Nordstrom, Macys, Piperlime) does and why it would make sense for Zappos to implement.
3) What metrics would you use to measure and evaluate the success of a marketing campaign?
