In recent years, technological advances have significantly transformed K-12 classrooms, enhancing the learning experience for students and educators alike. The integration of tech in education has led to the adoption of things such as  student electronic devices, wireless screen casting, touch or pen-interactive displays, and online collaborative learning platforms.

As technology continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, with developments in AI, voice and facial recognition, and more, it is crucial to envision what the future of classrooms and classroom displays will look like 5 years from now. How will students interact with other students and their teachers? How will various technology products within the classroom connect and communicate with one another for an enhanced learning experience for all?

Deliverables
  1. Given the current accelerated landscape of technological evolution such as AI, voice and facial recognition, etc., where do you see K-12 classrooms in 5 years?

    1. What types of technology would you expect to affect the classroom to provide an enriched learning environment for both students and teachers?
  2. Specifically, how will display tech enhancements (projectors, student devices, flat panel displays, etc.) fit into the "classroom of the future"?

    1. How will students and teachers interact with these displays?
    2. How will displays interact/connect with other technologies in the classroom?
  3. Specifically with displays in mind, what do you think is next for:

    1. network connectivity in the classroom?
    2. screen casting (casting content from teacher/student devices onto shared displays) in the classroom?
    3. collaboration/annotation/interactivity in the classroom?
