As a travel company, we have access to a vast amount of data generated from each step in the total traveler life-cycle shown here. Imagine you were able to tap into these large data sets related to traveler behaviors and patterns, think of all the ways you could improve their products and services!
Sample data points you could tap into include: search history information, live and historical fares & pricing, real-time flight information, hotel/car/rail booking data, airline add-on purchasing data (seats, upgrades, etc.), and airport volume forecasting.
Propose some out-of-the-box applications for non-travel industries to use our travel-related data. In your submissions, please include the following:
