With each year, our lives are becoming more linked to digital experiences, and a larger share of our documents, files, and photos are living in the cloud. Additionally, the rise of smartphones has displaced other devices like printers, cameras, scanners, etc. This rapid digital transformation has caused a decline in the demand for printed materials, and sheds a brighter light on the things about printing that frustrate consumers. Some of these include:
- The high cost of ink & paper
- The lack of excitement around buying a printer
- Concerns about sustainability and whether printing is eco-friendly
- Printer system issues - ex. clogged ink jets, paper jams, etc.
Given these frustrations and other factors, we are excited to hear your ideas for how printing can change and evolve to remain a relevant and improved part of consumers' lives.
