As smart phones and tablets become more ubiquitous, companies must adapt to make sure they are leveraging these technologies to reach their consumers. Google Web Designer helps developers and designers create engaging, interactive HTML5-based designs and motion graphics that can run on any device, making it a great product for ad creation across platforms.

To explore the functionality of Google Web Designer, we would like you to build an engaging ad unit for a fictional brand or product of your choice.

Deliverables

Please complete the following

1) Using Google Web Designer, build an engaging ad unit for a made up brand or product of your choice.

To help you get started, you should first check out these resources to quickly learn how to use Google Web Designer

- Google Web Designer Help Center

- Google Web Designer YouTube Channel

Criteria:

- Your ad unit must be mobile compatible

- Be sure your ad unit clearly conveys what your brand/product is, but do NOT use a real brand. You can either use assets from the websites listed below, or create your own fake brand. But for copyright reasons we cannot accept any ads with real brands or products in them. Contestants are responsible for ensuring the content they create follows all copyright policies.

- Creativity and innovation will be rewarded in making your ad as engaging as possible while remaining "on-brand"

Websites with free assets: (these are a few we found -- you do NOT have to use these ones specifically if you want to use others that you make or buy yourself.)
