When people think of wine packaging, the first thought is always the traditional glass wine bottle. For centuries, this has been the standard for wine packaging, but we are looking for creative new ideas for how to package wine.
UPDATE: Don't be afraid to think outside the box (pun intended) on this one! Unconventional ideas are encouraged, as long as you think of the ideal for wine drinkers. Show us something we never could have thought of on our own!
Please submit the following:
1) Propose an idea for a new way to package wine that does not currently exist in the market.
• What material would you use for your packaging?
• Explain the shape and functionality of your packaging
2) Why is your solution better than existing alternatives in wine packaging?
3) Attach an artistic rendering (sketch, mockup, design, etc.) that shows your design and illustrates the unique features of your new wine packaging.
Criteria: Keep the following in mind
1) Your solution should only focus on the wine packaging design and functionality, not the beverage product itself.
