As a diligent and persistent honor student-athlete pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, I apply for this internship with great interest. I was made aware of the opportunity through the Career Services office at (School Name).

I am resourceful, effective at multi-tasking, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. I am reliable and adaptable with the ability to learn new systems quickly as well. In my work as a Meta-Cognitive Research Assistant and Data Analyst as well as a Math Tutor, these qualities are essential to success in these roles. I expect that creating and using spreadsheets, collecting and reporting data are also useful in an internship within my area of interest which is accounting and finance.

I am excited to be part of the team that assists in the preparation and analysis of financial plans, forecasts, reports, and similar responsibilities. I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and skills to learn and grow as a result of this internship. I believe the opportunity would prepare me to be a strong contributor to the business world until and after graduation.
