Sample cover letter for Internship position at Adobe

Channel Marketing Automation Intern

My strong educational and work background, along with my prior experience with internal processes at Adobe, will enable me to be an effective part of the Adobe Creative Cloud team. Prior to starting my MBA program, I worked as a contractor for a year at Adobe as a Business Process & Systems Analyst for the Supply Chain. I supported the internal processes for the monthly pricelists as well as the CS6 launch. I learned a great deal about the importance of creating buy-in at all levels of the organization and understanding the customers’ needs and preferences. While keeping to aggressive deadlines, our team was able to successfully launch the new processes to the other teams for the CS6 launch.

Before my work at Adobe, I was a Database Marketing Intern at Cisco Systems. There I learned how to compile and evaluate marketing data and I assisted with the FY12 marketing campaign which included segmentation and geo targeting analysis.

In addition, during my MBA training, I have focused on marketing and developing my strategic analysis skills as well as my communication skills to be an effective manager. These areas are critical factors for a successful marketing operations manager, a position that I would ultimately like hold after completing my MBA.

I would welcome the opportunity to interview with you at Adobe. Please find my resume attached. I look forward to meeting with you soon and want to thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
