I am writing this letter to express my interest for the position of Analyst in your firm. I’m currently pursuing engineering in Mathematics and Computing(MC) from DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (Formerly,DCE) Delhi .During the past 3 years of my studies in probability, stochastic processes ,operations research, financial engineering and various numerical and computing techniques, it have provided me with the knowledge to apply my business and analytical skills to different business scenarios. I have an avid interest in the management consulting industry, and I believe that the Analyst position with BCC will provide me with unparalleled experience in business strategy.

I sharpened my leadership and decision-making skills while doing internship for a health start up “MediMonk.com” over two months in the summers of 2015. The environment was fast-paced and intense, thus I was constantly analyzing data to determine the root causes of problems people faces in India in a health sector. I would then identify and evaluate all possible alternatives before suggesting solutions. Most of these decisions had to be quick, concise and clearly conveyed to people at all organizational levels. During my tenure, I was often praised for thinking about problems innovatively and for never losing sight of the “big picture.” These skills will definitely aid me in consulting.

Throughout my college life, I have maintained an absolute balance between academic and extracurricular activities. During the second year of my college I was involved with DTU CRICKET TEAM. I also indulged myself in SOCIETY FOR INDUSTRIAL AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS-DTU Chapter where I continue to look for leadership opportunities within a team setting. In the academic year of 2014-15,I served as PUBLIC RELATIONS Head for SIAM-DTU where I led a team of ten students of our department in redesigning marketing, sales, and distribution strategies for our annual technical fest “EVOLUTE ‘15”. I enjoy working in teams which inculcated in me the true spirit of working in a team .Being a core team member of the SIAM DTU Council wherein I successfully managed and supervised numerous events it made me learn the art of time and resource managementand client relationships.

The innovative and result focused culture of BCC will make me use all the knowledge and experience that I have acquired to come up with new and out of the box business solutions and unleash my potential to the fullest which will contribute to my potential growth as well as to the company. Getting a chance to work in an ambitious, talented and diverse team of BCC, it will provide me the perspective to do things in a better way. Also for me the noble work of ‘providing solutions’ would be fulfilled to the fullest as this is what Bain does the best ‘provide solutions’.

High level of integrity and team work will make me fit in the BCC work culture thereby fulfilling all the capabilities and skills required for this post.
