I am a penultimate year student studying Accounting at Bath University, at this moment in time I am currently undergoing an Industrial Placement year at UBS due to finish in June. I work within Risk Control Operations specializing in Credit Risk; thus far my experience has involved working on a variety of issues where I am required to investigate various problems, evaluate the current and potential effects and implement a strategy designed to correct the situation. Dealing with a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis has exposed me to a wealth of information that has increased my desire to enhance my knowledge of the financial industry.

This has led me to apply for your Global Corporate Banking and Debt Capital Markets Analyst Summer Internship. Given my personal interest in the financial markets and success in my finance specific modules at university I have the ambition to gain experience within the Debt Capital Markets team. Working in a fast paced team environment where I have the opportunity to analyse the debt capital markets and generate tailored client solutions is a major attraction. I believe my analytical, organisational and communication skills which I have honed through daily tasks and conducting presentations at UBS in addition to my teamwork ability suits me to this position.
