I am currently a postgraduate MSc Finance student at xxx. I will like to express my interest for the full time 2016 graduate analyst role in trading & liquidity for the EMEA London office at BlackRock.

At this moment, I am a Senior Commodities Analyst at xxx. A trading and investment society at my current university in which I hold an active virtual trading account. This role offers me an insight into the task and skills need to be a successful analyst. Through this role, I developed my ability to research fundament factors, apply my technical market analysis skills to estimate the direction and position of stock prices. Along with, structuring reports and presenting to a committee audience of roughly 40 students. I have learnt the skills to gain and build trust with fellow committee members, working within a team to support each other and delivery weekly reports advising committee broad to invest committee funds. Moreover, the capability to manage academic work, participating in a society and working part time.

I feel that I am suitable for this role, alongside my passion and desire for financial markets, I have also taken additional modules and courses to help further development my technical market analysis skills, in preparation for this role which I have applied. I will also be taking advanced asset pricing and modelling, applied futures and options and strategic asset allocation modules, in hopes to broaden my knowledge of different aspects of trading. I will continue to develop my academic knowledge, after my postgraduate through tackling the CFA qualifications.
