company website. I am currently a second year undergraduate studying Human Biology at

_____________ University and am very interested in pursuing a career at Boots in the ______________ 

team. 

Boots is currently the UK’s leading pharmacy-lead health and beauty retailer and continues

to excel to date meeting and ongoing all of its 2013-2014 ambitions (across the community,

the environment, the marketplace and the workplace) with further ambitions into the 2014-

2015 year. The company’s values have helped further secure this position providing an

exemplary service and care to its customers, patients and colleagues.

As shown on my CV I have a successful history of work experience and employment in a

various number of sectors. These have required me to work both independently and in a

team and have helped me gain and progress my skills in leadership, team work and time

management; as well as, developing the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues

and customers. In addition to this, my A level in Biology and first year university modules

have enabled me to gain valuable experience working in a laboratory environment whether

through chemical experiments or using a variety of laboratory equipment.

I am a determined, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, dedicated to achieving both my

own ambitions and those within a team. This is evident in all areas of my life including my

education studies, work and sports commitments. I am a friendly personality who is very

passionate about working for such a reputable company whilst developing my own

knowledge on pharmacy and health care, as well as learning more about you as a business.

I believe the skills I have learned would help me fit into your team, delivering both ideas and
