Please consider my candidacy for the Internship at CDC/CGH. This career position matches well with my passion, current skills, and professional goals as my resume exhibits. I am specifically intrigued to public health care in regards to the application of the human condition with scientific methods, policy, management, and communications. Based on my previous experiences and academic work, I will contribute a unique, yet valuable perspective to this position.

Definitive to the expectations outlined in the job description, my background in pre-medicine and environmental science, my experiences abroad with public health, and my research projects relevant to both medicine and societal outreach together will allow me to well-represent your organization. I am passionate in applying a public health approach to scientific methodology and analysis within health administration. For instance, my internship with the United Nations Development Program as a Community Development and Knowledge Management Intern trained my skills including microfinance management and marketing strategies along with PR. With my experiences in internships abroad, I have become interested the application of research methods to the human condition. I value this role as an opportunity to launch my goals. My unique combination of experiences in campus life, the arts, music and video editing, and foreign language studies have taught me outstanding communication skills as well as an aptitude to approach challenges and ideas with both a creative and logical perspective. As a graduate of Emory University, I obtained a liberal arts education that supplements my training in Environmental Sciences. My education overall provides a stability for a long-term contribution in helping our country and its people.
