I am writing to express my interest in the Research Associate at The Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED). I am looking for a career in research analysis, I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss in more detail working at a great organization such as CFED.

I am a bilingual (English and Mandarin) development and economic researcher with a strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methods who is seeking to better understand how program and policy shapes the behavior of individuals. I enjoy generating and supporting research ideas that aim to enhance people's quality of life. Two years of academic study provided me a good foundation in my quantitative and statistical analyzing skills. My fieldwork experience in developing country (Ethiopia) gave me the opportunity to present findings to policy and research audiences. And my experience with large data set makes me an efficient data miner who believe that it’s just the matter of time until you find the logic behind data.

My professional expertise also includes data collection/management and interpretation through STATA. My former adviser and colleague would describe me as highly organized, persistent and detail oriented individual who is a team player with in-depth analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Meanwhile I can bring cultural competency in my work, and would offer this skill in any international business activities this position requires. As I am looking for a career in research/data analysis, I believe I will be a good fit to work at CFED.
