Sample cover letter for Internship position at Cargill

POSITION:

Business Development Associate Intern

Dear Hiring Manager:

I am writing to convey my interest in the strategy and Business Development Associate Intern position at Cargill. I am a first year MBA student with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University. Given my range of skills, I could make a positive contribution to the future success of Cargill in this position.

Specifically, my efficient analytical and organizational skills, accompanied by my superior management and teamwork leadership ability will be of great service to Cargill. For the past five years I worked for Accenture, and during that time I aggressively expanded my role and responsibilities by leading teams in multiple areas of application development and project support. In addition to leading and supporting various projects, I was able to procure and implement several new tools that saved clients thousands of dollars. In my position as a Business Analyst I excelled at forming meaningful client relationships by effectively understanding client requirements and delivering applications as per the requirements. My past positions have required me to be detail-focused, well-organized, and effectively communicate to team members of all levels to be successful. These are skills that I look to bring with me to Cargill.

Enclosed is a copy of my resume for your review. I look forward to discussing my qualifications and fit for your organization during an interview. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
