I am extremely interested in an opportunity to intern at Citi bank Kenya limited. This is in response to the advert on university vocational program being offered by your company.

I have managed to gain commercial awareness through my participation in NSE’s investment discussion forums at wazua.co.ke, the NSE investment challenge and constantly reading financial news, articles and reports. Combining studies with a quite demanding freelance writing job has taught me effective time management skills, commitment and working under pressure. I have also acquired certification in financial mathematics from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and together with the modules I have taken so far, I can make an excellent intern. Among modules I have taken, include Economics, Computational methods, financial reporting and Financial Mathematics. I also possess good data analysis skills using MS Excel, SPSS and R statistical software.

Given the expertise and experience that your company has in the financial industry globally, I wish to gain knowledge and experience in my field through the unique opportunity to learn from the citi bank staff.
