Sample cover letter for Internship position at Dalberg

POSITION:

Summer Intern, Consulting

GOT THE JOB? Yes

Dear XYZ

Greetings.

My name is ....... and I am currently a pre-final year undergraduate student at ......... I would like to apply for an internship at Dalberg during the upcoming summers.

My previous experiences in Financial services include Internships at Franklin Templeton Investments and India Ratings & Research. Through this experience working on Investment and Product strategy teams of FTI, I have gained Financial and Analytical skills and honed my abilities to work in a team as well as taking important decisions. I also had the opportunity to work on the Outcome driven Investment Strategy of Franklin Templeton Investments. In India Ratings & Research I was a part of the Structured Finance team and have done a critical analysis of default behaviour of loan across delinquency buckets.

Alongside my regular academic curriculum, I have spent 3 years as a part of the organising team of Kshitij, Asia’s Largest Techno-Management Fest starting as a volunteer to the Executive Head. I have a lot of experience working as a team player as well as heading independent teams for various responsibilities. In the process I have worked with numerous organisations handling sponsorship and branding, connected with VC firms, conceptualised campaigns and have been successful in almost doubling the output compared to previous years.

Given my experience in a Multinational Financial Services industry as well as a Non-profit educational organisation management, I hope, I would be an ideal candidate for strategy formulation, research, planning and management and bring versatility in the decision making to solve the intended problems.

Please find my resume attached for your reference.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
