I am ______, a student at the _______ double-majoring in Business Administration and Communication. I am very interested in the Business Technology Analyst (BTA) program at Deloitte. I am a good fit for this position because of my strong communication skills, ability to work in faced-paced environments both independently and in teams, and genuine enthusiasm to solve problems creatively. In sum, I know how to anticipate problems, collaborate with others, and innovate to create opportunities where others see problems.

During my time thus far at college, I have focused on both excelling in my education and gaining outside experience. Through my coursework, I have honed my critical reasoning skills with assignments that incorporate heavy writing, research, and problem-solving components. Additionally, by working as a research assistant in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, I have developed strong analytical skills in a position that requires an eye for detail, drive to work independently, and commitment to long projects. In my past role as an administrative intern at Veggielution Community Farm, I was often expected to prioritize daily task lists and work with a team of to create and implement company-wide and community-wide initiatives. Also, in my role as a legal aide at Fairbank ADR, a law firm specializing in business litigation, I was constantly relied on to communicate well with the various legal assistants and attorneys and interact with clients on the phone, through email, and in-person in a manner that is both personal and professional. I am also currently working as an Admission Ambassador for the University of Southern California’s Office of Admission; through interactions with potential students, donors, and parents, I am expected to expertly represent the brand and image of my school.

I would also like to emphasize that my involvements with programs like Design for America and the Student Design CRUNCH Challenge in the Annenberg Innovation Lab (a 7-week student incubator course) have taught me how to think innovatively and creatively. I truly believe in the beauty of a diverse team, and I can bring a spark of entrepreneurial problem-solving to Deloitte and the BTA program.

I am particularly drawn to this program with Deloitte because of the emphasis on learning and development. Through this program, I desire to gain a better understanding of my own interests, goals, and career path with a worldwide industry-leader. While growing in my analytical and leadership skills, I am excited to learn first-hand how to develop innovative answers to complex business problems.

Ultimately, at Deloitte, I desire to gain meaningful exposure to management consulting industry under the tutelage of experienced professionals. I hope to supplement coursework with my experience in the BTA program and be challenged and inspired by my peers and mentors.
