Application for the position of Junior Audit Assistant
I learned about Deloitte Junior Audit Assistant role from Deloitte career services webpage and I got very interested in securing this position. My goal is to become associated with an organization where I can utilize my education and technical skills while gaining further knowledge and experience in the world of Audit.
Throughout my education, I have demonstrated a strong academic performance in all accounting and finance related courses both in my college and graduate school, maintaining a strong GPA. Coursework has developed my fundamental skills and knowledge to use Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes as well as provided me with necessary tools to analyze and synthesize important financial information.
After graduating I started an internship at a local Insurance Company. One of my big assignments as an intern was to collect data, analyze customer base, observe trends, visualize the findings and present my work to Product Management team. My manager highly recognized the analysis I had performed. After that I took a bigger step forward and got a job at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Working as an Audit Specialist at one of the Big Four was a big challenge. I saw in practice how auditing standards are applied in different situations and gained skills every professional auditor must possess. I also learned to place meticulous attention to details while assisting in the audit process. I plan to apply all these principles to Junior Audit Assistant position I am applying to.
I believe the fact that I worked at PwC as an Audit Specialist in the US will help me to adapt to a new role faster. Throughout my education and professional experience I have proven my analytical and problem solving mentality. From your description of the qualities needed for an Audit Assistant, I believe my credentials align well with what you are seeking.
