Sample cover letter for Internship position at Deloitte

POSITION:

Business Analyst

As a graduating xyz student at xxx, I am writing to apply for a full-time Business Analyst position with Deloitte Consulting LLP. I have had the opportunity to interact with several Deloitte people during Employer Information Session, and I have been thoroughly impressed with the caliber of Deloitte people. It is clear to me that Deloitte values diversity and empowers its people to carve their own distinct paths within the firm. I am certain that Deloitte offers me the type of experience that I am seeking in my future career.

During my past two summer internships I assisted a leading real estate developer with strategic redesign of its Project Operations Management solutions, including secondary development of E-Procurement System, Quality Assurance Framework, Contract Bidding System and Database Integration. This was an invaluable experience that involved high-level operational decision making and systems integration. Working with client’s senior management team, I strengthened my team skills, identified and presented actionable recommendations of multi-million savings opportunities, as well as got more exposed to consulting practices. Commended for my due diligence ability, commitment and reliability, I was reaffirmed that my background is particularly well suited for a career in Deloitte.

My strong problem solving ability, along with broad international outlook and enthusiasm about working in Deloitte, qualify me for the Business Analyst position. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to interview with Deloitte. Should you have any questions regarding my interests or qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Best Regards,
