POSITION:

Tax Consultant Intern

I am writing to express my strong interest in working as a Tax Consultant Intern in Deloitte XX office.

Now I am a second-year graduate student at XXX University, majoring in Accountancy, and I am also pursuing my Master in Science of Taxation Certificate. I have finished tax related courses with multiple topics. This background allows me to have a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge for further practices. Meanwhile, I am a tax intern in XXX Company and primarily work with individuals and small businesses to prepare federal and state income tax returns, including doing tax planning, which requires reasonable creativity a lot cause often situations do not fit into boxes. Fortunately, I am exactly a person with huge intellectual curiosity to solve the problem in the best way. This experience not only gives me a chance to apply skills learnt from class into the real world, but also makes me realize my passion for starting my career in tax.

Also, when I was serving as a tax preparer volunteer this spring, I realized that doing tax is more than filing the returns, it’s a job requires a strong sense of responsibility, and I exactly enjoy dedicating myself to help people in unforeseen tax messes. In those days, I worked well both independently and in team and I received lots recognition for my diligent work. Combined, I’m confident that I will make a successful addition to your team.
