Sample cover letter for Internship position at Dexigner

POSITION:

Photographer

My name is Mary and I am interested in the photography internship, which I had discovered on the Penn State career services network. I am interested in this internship because I have always been interested in photography. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to take a class on it or have any prior experiences. The only thing I have had the chance to do is take photos for friends of mine as a hobby. Since I live in Philadelphia, the only way I could see being in Erie is moving there temporarily since I do not have family living in that area. I am, however, open to other suggestions.

Although I have studied only business in my undergraduate career, I have always connected the most with my creative side. I thought that if I applied to a photography internship I could finally delve into that part of me and run with it. I love hands-on involvement, and being able to create something and contribute somewhere in an artistic sense has always been my passion.

I have a flexible schedule from July onwards. I am very open to new opportunities and experiences, and am eager to learn to gain more knowledge. I am able to pick things up quickly and think on my feet. I look forward to your reply!
