Sample cover letter for Internship position at Disney

POSITION:

Analyst

This letter is in response to your advertisement for Summer Analyst program, posted on the Morgan Stanley Careers Website. As per your description, my interpersonal and analytical skills can be leveraged towards a successful performance in this internship.

Referencing the experience on my resume, while working as the Entertainment Manager for Student Association at the University at Buffalo, I demonstrated strong analytical and leadership skills by planning and managing big budget projects and delegating event staff during the events. I have consistently received excellent management reviews for providing outstanding service to our student body, which is a source of great pride. Beyond providing positive customer service, I demonstrated strong individual and group communication skills through winning the prestigious PricewaterhouseCoopers Challenge case competition. As a finance assistant for the Department of Electrical Engineering, I demonstrated your desired analytical abilities by managing a budget in Excel, calculating expenses/revenues and reporting to the executive officer of the department. Besides working and managing school, I am also involved in student clubs like Delta Sigma Pi, Beta Alpha Psi, which demonstrates my time management skills as well.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity for an interview to further explain how I can contribute to Morgan Stanley’s success. My resume will give you a greater understanding of my qualifications and work experience. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
