Sample cover letter for Internship position at EA

POSITION:

Marketing

January 18th ,2016

Electronic Arts Inc.

209 Redwood Shores Pkwy.

Redwood City, CA 94065

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to submit my application for the Data Analyst Internship at Electronic arts. In line with the requirements of the position, I have extensively worked in as a marketing analyst at ABC for 3 years. I worked in the the marketing team for 3 years during which I functioned as a technical and commercial specialist. I performed various competitor evaluations and came up with commercial strategies which were implemented to succeed in a challenging Indian market. I was in charge of sales two regions for ABB automation products. At Dartmouth I am presently learning R programming, Tableau software and XL miner for data analytics. I am also working on a data mining project presently at the Tuck school of business.

My earliest memory of Electronic arts is just as any other kid in the video games sponsored. I dreamt of one day working for this company. My interest grew as I was playing FIFA and realized how the database of the players is updated every year. The challenge of collaborating with various clients and cross functional teams to create a direct impact for the clients and maximizing their productivity is what excites me the most at EA.

My key strength.

Passionate and ability to get results: While facing strong competition in the market, I took the initiative to visit the clients, held several meetings and understood the needs of the clients, thereby adapting the solution to their requirements.  I managed to win the project.

I firmly believe that my experience of data analysis and passion for the company I work, makes me a good fit at Electronic arts. I would like to thank you in advance for your kind consideration and I look forward to discussing my candidature in further detail.

Sincerely,
