User Experience Intern

I am applying for the User Experience Intern position available within your group at Esri.

I am currently a master’s candidate studying Integrated Digital Media at New York University and since the start of the program, I have developed a keen interest in user experience and interaction design. I graduate in December and I am confident that I have the experience and education you seek in an applicant to suit your need for this position.

I enjoyed reviewing your company’s website and learning more about geographic information systems. It’s very intersting to see how your products are applied from tracking polling stations to citing crime maps. I hope I can gain valuable experience from the team as well as be able to contribute with the skills that I have learned thus far in the user experience field. Some of my duties included conducting user research, creating wireframes, collaborating with experience architects to develop solid user experience planning and troubleshooting design problems to support usability concerns.

My online portfolio illustrates my skills through work I’ve completed on previous projects as well as my resume highlight my time at Ford Motor Company as a Product Manager. I am confident regarding my knowledge in user experience design and product development to research and gather insights to create feedback to further improve digital products, Through user research and testing, I believe I can play a significant role within your organization and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my qualifications in greater detail during an in-person meeting. I look forward to speaking with you!
