APPLICATION FOR INTERNSHIP IN ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT

After attending your company presentation at Monash University (Clayton campus) few weeks ago, and speaking with one of the representative from the Assurance Department at the event, I am enthusiastically writing to apply for an internship in the Assurance Department in EY (Ernst & Young) for a short period of two to three months at the end of this year. I would like to take this opportunity to outline some of my qualifications and attributes that closely match your criteria.

I am currently studying (your bachelor's degree) in the Monash University and looking forward to develop my knowledge and skills in auditing through an internship with your organization. My experience studying abroad in Australia for current semester has provided me strong adaptability and flexibility in new situations. Additionally, I learned to view problems from a culturally different perspective, therefore I am able to adapt to changing environments with ease and to work with people of diverse backgrounds. My studies have also given me an excellent overall understanding of business practice, major in Accounting prompted my interest in auditing and assurance where I hope to put my interests and learning into practice. Furthermore, active in extra-curricular activities has given me the chance to develop my leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
