I am writing to apply for Retail Risk Consultant under Lloyds Banking Group Plc Retail Risk Industrial Placement Programme.

My keen interest of pursuing a career within a challenging and dynamic industry and my strong desire to be a part of a core industry in the business world does feed my motivation for making application to work within the high-octane banking industry.

My keen interest on the Retail Risk Consultant role is motivated by the excellent opportunities that the job role entails. The job role will provide me with an opportunity to gain exposure to the finance and business world early in my career and help me build a skill set that is a springboard to strategic management as well as hone my financial advisory skill. Academically, as a student of Kingston University, I am developing comprehensive foundation in Business Statistics, Accounting, and Mathematics for Business, Information Systems Development for Business, Project Management and Information Technology for Business which is effectively parallel to the requirements of the job role. My first year grade presents my drive to succeed and my motivation to stand-out by going an extra-mile. My current part-time work which is based in a customer oriented business is helping me develop my ability to work as a team member besides helping me develop my ability to address issues with logical and effective approach and motivate other team members to achieve the set goal within a stipulated period. As my CV reflects, volunteering at the Kingston Young Carers Network Summer Ball Project as a project management team member has helped me develop strategic planning skill, understand the demand of certain situation and act accordingly to minimise risk and achieve target.

It is this versatility and commitment to results that I would be pleased to bring to the placement programme. I also am confident that my cultural background will be a welcome enlightenment and addition to the cultural and ethnic diversity of Lloyds Banking Group, and I am excited by the prospects of being part of this broadening of horizons.
