Dear Ms. Nyitrai,
I am a graduating student in CEU Business School’s MSc in Finance program and am very interested in the position of Credit Risk Management Analyst at your organization.
Having entertained the prospect of a career in financial services for a long time I took part in the Morgan Stanley information session held at CEU Business School on April 14. I was already well-aware of Morgan Stanley Hungary as one of Central Europe’s most attractive employers in financial services. However, I was truly struck by your colleagues’ description of Morgan Stanley delivering such a broad and sophisticated range of services on a global scale. I was also happy to hear that your Hungary office is among Morgan Stanley’s fastest developing offices with a now-critical role in providing support for your global operations. I believe that with my qualifications and experience I am well-paired to your Budapest credit research team and to Morgan Stanley’s corporate culture.
Prior to entering CEU Business School I was a Junior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers Italy before joining the trading company Mediacomer as a Junior Trader. At PwC I took part in the audit of a number of companies listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. During my time there I developed a thorough understanding of how companies operate and behave, and acquired strong skills in financial data analysis, auditing and internal control. I also became well-versed in IFRS as well as both US and Italian GAAP. PwC Italy has a fast-paced multicultural environment not unlike Morgan Stanley’s, which I always loved and appreciated.
At Mediacomer I had a rather different but equally challenging role. I was involved in the preparation of international trading activities, mainly with China and various African markets. My team was responsible for all activities from procurement to delivery, and I became well-versed in complex shipping and customs routines. Like your organization, Mediacomer had a flat hierarchy of diverse team members, each with the opportunity to make a difference through creative problem-solving, which is how I know I work best.
