First year university summer program
My name is x and I am currently a first year student at x studying Finance, Investment and Risk. I would be keen to attend your 4 week Summer program in-class in London
I have attended various other financial events and fairs, including recently a talk entitled, “Banking – Where are we now?” which was given by the head of the British Bankers Association, Anthony Browne, and a lecture, “Opportunities in Investment Management” presented by the head of Heartwood Investment Management.
As part of my course last semester, I spent several days in Ampify Trading’s office, where I was able to practice trading and learnt about their company and various trading strategies. I get to return to their company in later this year. I previously participated in a course on the fundamentals of trading and investment, with First Derivatives, where I was given the opportunity to be taught, and use, Bloomberg Terminal.
Thus, I have been interested in financial world for some time and hence am a keen reader and subscriber of the Financial Times.
Therefore, I would be grateful to you if I could have the opportunity to attend a Summer Internship, with the aim of expanding my knowledge of the financial industry, with the aspiration of achieving a career in this highly competitive market.
