As a proactive and innovative recent graduate of Certified Public Accountant (K) currently pursuing a KASNEB certification in Certified Investment and Financial Analyst, I am writing to apply for an entry level position in the firm. Through both work and study, I have developed an excellent understanding of diverse areas encompassing accounting such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounts reconciliation, tax compliance, inventory control, budgeting, financial management, financial forecasting, auditing and assurance and variance analysis among others which have given me a solid foundation in the tools, processes and methodologies involved in the successful performance of the duties assigned. Furthermore, through my previous work as an administrative assistant I gained valuable experience in inventory control, petty cash management and maintaining confidentiality of highly sensitive documents and records.

In addition to being analytical and methodical when approaching accounting problems, I am an excellent observer as I consider observation to be one of the best forms of training. On a more personal level, I am a result-oriented person with high integrity and a good team player who can interact with colleagues whilst working independently or as part of the team. I also have well-developed planning, organizing, communication, leadership, presentation, report writing and computer skills which will enable me to carry out my tasks professionally. I am confident that with my positive attitude and strong work ethic I will make a significant contribution to the continued success of the bank.
