Ever since I heard about the GoPro camera, I knew I found the perfect way to document my life and adventures. As an avid explorer and a lover of the outdoors, I have been able to bring this perfect little action camera with me on water-rafting trips, out-door music festivals, and much more. When I found the iOS Software Engineer Intern with GoPro, Inc, as advertised through the UCSD Port Triton website, I knew I had to apply. With my background in computer science and knack for innovation, I believe this position is a strong match for my skills and career interests.

I developed a keen interest in computer science while working towards an undergraduate major in computer science while at UCSD. Specifically, my classes in Computer Science & OOP: Java have provided me with a solid foundation in programming with the use of Java APIs and GUIs in an industry level manner. My programming knowledge also extends to Data Structures & OODesign which required me to design a calculator using Stacks and organize information with HashTables, Trees, and Linked Lists. In addition to my academic training, my experience as co-founder of my clothing line Taunt has been a privilege providing me with the opportunity to work with my team of photographers and models to organize photo-shoots. Moreover, I’ve negotiated with vendors for wholesale goods, managed and documented all of our sales, and managed our e-commerce website. Combined with my problem solving skills that I developed putting together websites in my free time, these qualifications make me well-suited to work for GoPro, Inc.

As a proven leader, team player, and problem solver, I feel my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for the iOS Software Engineer Intern position.
