Sample cover letter for Internship position at Golman

POSITION:

business

Dear Mr. Mueller,

I am a fourth semester business student studying on the international programme ‘International Business Management’ at the University of California in Los Angeles. This is a 3-year course, graduating with the BBA diploma. Currently I am studying a semester abroad at the University of Queensland. My majors include Investments & Portfolio Management and Marketing. Within our studies, we are encouraged to seek internships in international companies for the 5th semester.

As you can see from the enclosed CV, I have already gained positive experience through various projects. Apart from my engagement at university, it has always been a priority for me to pursue promising ideas and realising them successfully. As a co-founder, I am currently engaged in the development of an internet based book exchange for students, which has recently been nominated for the business prize of the university. I consider myself as being able to communicate and collaborate effectively with my colleagues and to build and sustain productive relationships. Due to the international framework of my studies and the time I spent abroad I appreciate it to work in international teams and transform the resulting creativity and innovativeness into productive work flows. Furthermore I possess the necessary analytical skills to learn business processes in a very short period of time which I consider as being essential in today’s fast moving global marketplace.

I consider the possibility of doing an internship at Daimler in Singapore, as an excellent opportunity to develop my management skills. With over 200 destinations worldwide and the international corporate culture, Daimler presents a very promising destination for a challenging career. It is a major aim for me to be part of that global endeavour and to contribute towards the corporate success.

Please find my CV enclosed. If you think I might fit into your organisation in this capacity, I would very much look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Nancy Vermont
