I read your posting for Data Scientist in www.kaggle.com. I am an experienced Database developer with a M.S. in Computer Science from MS, Information System, from Touro College, NYC.
I have more than 6 years of experience in Application Development, Data Analysis, T/SQL and PLSQL Development. Currently I am working with Thomson Reuters, NY as a Sr. Software Developer since August 2014. I am experienced database developer, with very good knowledge of data analysis and data processing knowledge. My current position deals with large amount of data as a result my primary work is to process them with required speed. On the other hand I have been working hadoop installation and development. I have also completed various certification courses on data analysis (R- programming, Apache Spark, Python, PySpark etc) from edx.org and other online website. Although I don’t have much working experience as data scientist on a production environment, my experience on relational domain and working knowledge data analysis tools, I hope I will certainly be assets to your company if I get opportunities.
