Sample cover letter for Internship position at Google

POSITION:

OPERATION

Dear Google Hiring Office,

As a passionate consumer of many of Google’s innovative product releases over the past several years and a student of your inspiring entrepreneurial story, I am responding to a recent posting for the Business Analyst position with your growing audio business in Newport Beach, California. I believe that my combination of analytical and marketing strategy experience and education would help me to excel in this critical role of assessing strategic business opportunities within your product development group.

I am currently wrapping up my accelerated MBA program at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School in Malibu, where I have performed well in a variety of analytical, marketing and entrepreneurial courses and made an impact as a campus leader. Prior to starting my MBA, I had three years of experience in a diverse and demanding role with the marketing and business development groups of an emerging East Coast biotechnology company as well as editorial experience with a regional business magazine. I am currently a marketing intern with a thriving wireless telecommunications company and have also worked on projects with a variety of start-ups throughout this year. I have worked equally well in unstructured solo environments and group initiatives and have a strong interest in contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Throughout my education and experiences, I have continually focused on my analytical and relationship-building abilities and writing and communications skills. I have been a proactive team player with a passion for innovative and entrepreneurial marketing strategy in a changing marketplace. I look forward to hearing back about your interest in me for the Business Analyst position.

Thanks,
