Dear Nicole:

This letter is to express my strong interest further discussing a position as an Audit Associate at Grant Thornton. I feel that I possess the technical and education skills to make me a competitive candidate.

My background includes a variety of related experiences from Corporate to Plant Accounting positions in different industries. These positions required critical thinking, and ability to assess and determine outcomes on a short timeline. I even did an internship at a CPA firm while obtaining my BBA in Business, and really enjoyed the experience. Some of my strongest abilities that I possess are in the areas of Research, Auditing, Time Management, Communication and Technical Writing.

Currently, I am scheduled to finish the CPA exam in October 2015. In addition, I received a Master of Science in Accountancy in March of 2013 with a 3.4/4.0 from Walsh College. While furthering my education, I acquired my CMA - Certified Management Accountant Certificate in December of 2012.

Attached is my resume that further defines my background and technical skills. Thank you for your time and consideration. I very much look forward to meeting you, and the opportunity in discussing the benefits I have to offer Grant Thornton for a position as an Audit Associate.

Sincerely,

John P. Walsh
