Sample cover letter for Internship position at Gym

POSITION:

Training Assistant

Name XXXXXXXX

Mobile:XXXXXXXX email XXXX

Location XXXXX

Date XXXXXX

Dear XXXXXX,

Since I became a student at XXXX, I have been really interested in pursuing a position where I could share my passion for fitness education. In fact, before coming to XXXXX, I had already located the gym and was ecstatic when I got to know that it was so close to where I live. Under these circumstances, I got really excited when I learned from the Student Employment web page that XXXXX is in need of an Assistant.

I really enjoy sharing with people, specially if the it is in the environment of fitness and health. As I mentioned before, I am really passionate about this subject. Since I was four years old I have been involved in some kind of physical activity; I have been in the gymnastics team, the volleyball team and the football team. I have also done cross country racing, dance and these last years I have been an active member of several gyms. The fitness world has been always part of my life but it turned into a passion three years ago when I became more curious about how my body works and what it exactly needs to be healthy; so I started investigating and learning from books, the internet and trainers. Furthermore, in April of this year I got my Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate from the American Red Cross.

In conclusion, I am really interested in fulfilling the position of Assistant and becoming part of the XXX Team.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Thank you very much,

XXXXXXX
