Sample cover letter for Internship position at HILTI

POSITION:

Analyst

Dear HR Manager,

I feel extremely delighted to apply for an internship at Hilti in the Market Research role. As a student of this globally recognised and consistently top ranked Masters programme, I had the privilege of visiting the Hilti headquarters at Schaan, Liechtenstein in November 2014 for a day-long workshop and presenting our case solutions as a part of the academic assignment. I am greatly impressed by the expertise of the company in providing innovative products and comprehensive solutions to the construction industry globally, and I would like to be a part of this dynamic and impressive organisation.

I feel fortunate to have spent three years working with one of the largest business houses in project finance for fast growing non-banking company with a book size of around $4 billion. My role gave me the opportunity to be well-versed with the infrastructure sector at large and the construction industry in particular. I am eager to bring these skills to this role in Hilti. Furthermore, the academic rigor of my academic programme with its interdisciplinary approach and international exposure has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in business and research.

I have been privileged to be surrounded with intelligent and talented individuals both at my workplace and at the academic institutions I attended. I enjoy working in teams with diverse multicultural backgrounds. With my technical know-how and professional experience, I believe this opportunity in Market Research will be an excellent platform to contribute to the continued success and growth of Hilti.

I look forward to speaking with you regarding my suitability for this role and will be happy to share any further information needed.
