POSITION:

Creative Intern

January 19, 2016

Human Resources

Hallmark Cards, Inc.

2501 McGee Traffic way

Kansas City, MO 64108

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is    XXX        and I am applying for the position as the Lettering Artist/Typography Designer internship that Hallmark Cards, Inc. posted under careers within the Hallmark website. After reviewing the requirements for the position and learning more of what Hallmark has to offer through the internship, I am very interested in applying.

Currently, I am a junior student at California Baptist University located in Riverside, California. I intend to graduate May of 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Spanish. I possess many of the skills that you require for this internship. The position in the lettering studio has sparked my interest the most through the opportunities that are described while working with the company. I am pursuing this position because I want to utilize and expand upon my knowledge and skills of graphic design and typography, while gaining further experience with a company who is devoted to creativity, and will challenge me further in the area of design.

I have attached my resume that reflects my qualifications and experience for your review. I would bring a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in bringing my knowledge and creativity for typography and lettering to your company. Thank you for your time and considering my application.

Sincerely,

XXX
