Finance Intern

I am very excited about the Finance Intern position with HeyWire and it is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application. I have a dynamic background, and I’m confident that my skills and education will translate successfully to the role of Finance Intern with HeyWire. As you can see in my attached resume, I have a unique blend of education and working experience. I have recently completed a Master’s of Science in Economics, with a focus Commerce and Economic Development from Northeastern University. Through my graduate coursework, I have practice in analyzing and interpreting data, using statistical methods to make inferences, creating and manipulating economic models, and using varied research approaches to make meaningful recommendations.

In addition to my educational background, my Internship experience has taught me organizational skills, communication, and flexibility. I take pride in my attention to details, particularly when it comes to working with numbers and data. As an Analyst Intern I was given a wide range of responsibilities such as Tracking expenses and revenues vs. budget and analyzing fluctuations, assisting in the budget & reforecast process, evaluating profit and cost efficiencies and Developing and maintaining financial reports and models.

I will approach all my work with discipline and focus, as shown by my excellent academic performance. My professors and previous employers have recommended me for my strong analytical as well as communication skills. I offer advanced computer skills including familiarity with R programming language, which is an important tool for computational statistics and Data Analysis. I am confident that the combination of my critical thinking, interpersonal skills and my enthusiasm will make me an asset in your company.
