I am seeking the opportunity to apply myself to the ING wholesale banking track program to enable me to capitalise on my professional experience and academic success whilst allowing me to progress in my career and advance within. I now desire a fresh challenge, with the possibility of progression, to enable me to fulfil my career objectives and build upon the highly relevant skills I have already attained.

I am eager to work for ING as it stimulates a culture and an environment of performance that encourages strong minded individuals in making their own decisions, work with other people and attain results. I am especially interested in applying myself in the dynamic environment of wholesale banking offered and this three-year program provides an excellent opportunity for acquiring knowledge of the financial requirements of clients in businesses, governments or financial institution. It also provides growth and development where grasp of fundamental aspects of business is supplemented by managing customer relations which lays the foundation for a successful career in banking that achieves sustainable results.

As my CV reflects, I am a recent graduate in a combined degree of Economics and Arabic achieving a 2.1 grade. Throughout my time in academia I have consistently achieved a high standard in Mathematics and Economics thereby strengthening my numerical and analytical skills. Additionally, an extensive private sector work history that has sharpened my transferable skills such as discipline and communication which are invaluable in harnessing client relationships and building rapport with colleagues and clients alike. I am also aware of the company’s emphasis in diversity and its embrace of different cultures. Thanks to my extensive study abroad experience, I have deep culture awareness whilst improving my confidence, level of independence, maturity and global knowledge.

Highly driven with a passion for exceeding targets, I have a strong determination to succeed within demanding roles.
