I am a 3rd year student at [college name] majoring in [Branch]. After getting admitted to [college name], as a common fresher, I assumed my life to be a great success after getting the best branch possible in my college and a dream come true. But after a lot of research during my first years I realized that this branch offers no scope for improvement in life whereas financial sectors offer a much better lifestyle, exposure and a chance to work with professionals. After completion of my summer training at a mine and observing their working conditions and lifestyle, I made up my mind of switching my focus from getting a job at a mining sector to financial sector because mathematics has always been interesting for me. The lifestyle of alumni at various mines were way below standard who themselves suggested to drop the plan to work at a mine else it will become a lifetime cause to regret. Also, in recent times attempts are being made to find renewable sources of energy to substitute use of coal all over the world. One most recent example is signing of Paris Pact which focused on finding of alternatives for coal to decrease emission of harmful gases produced as a result of burning of coal.

I am sure that working at JP Morgan would mean an opportunity to further develop my abilities while having fun in a uniquely stimulating environment. As mentioned in my resume, I have done some projects under my mentor and currently I am preparing for core technical papers of actuaries after clearing ACET (Actuarial Common Entrance test). It is well known that JP Morgan has a strong reputation as a leader in the financial services industry and as a premier destination for gifted graduates aspiring to leverage their analytical abilities through direct participation in world markets. So, I want to gain experience in financial sector by working as an analyst at JP Morgan. Although I don’t have much experience in finance sector I can guarantee quick learning and dedication as it will improve my job prospects in future by a great amount and hopefully beginning with this program what could be a long lasting partnership.
